My Eulogy

He was a compassionate person who recognized when someone was in need. When he was sitting  waiting to come home on leave for the holiday from Vietnam this man was there and he had no other family to go home to so my dad said come home with me. And so he did he came home on leave for 2 weeks with my dad and in that two weeks they grew so close becoming the best of friends. But sadly when returning back to war they had to go their separate ways and never saw each other again.      He had a sense of humor. He had a wise crack for a lot of things and pet names for people cos he knew when he used them it put a smile on someone's face.      He was a family man. He loved dearly each and everyone of his kids. Said to me: "He was always so happy and excited to tell me one more on the way. I usually would see them at Wegmans when I would get the news one more Plain."      And above all he was a warrior. A warrior I respected and always will. He served his country no matter how they say he was discharged and he served his family just the same. Dad may you meet up with mom and you both rest in peace. I promise you will never be forgotten and always will be forever loved dearly within our hearts. Semper Fi Dad
